Writer, Stuart Paul

Stuart Paul is a graduate of the USC School of Cinema-Television's screenwriting division where he received distinction for his thesis screenplay, The Wraith Wrangler. He recently won Fade In Magazine's Writers Network screenwriting competition and placed among the top 100 scripts in the 2005 Nicholl Fellowships. In addition to Confessions of a Late Bloomer, he wrote the short film Orion Slave Girls Must Die!!! which is currently in post-production. He is repped by Fuse Entertainment.

 

Producer, Philip Lott

Philip Lott began his film career training at the prestigious UK film school the CFU in London. Gaining enormous experience studying under filmmakers Richard Attenborough, Ken Russell and Bryan Forbes, Philip produced his first short films by the age of 20. After producing and directing several award winning commercials, Englishman Philip began his long relationship with America on a series of documentaries for Discovery Channel.

In 1999 Philip opened his own indie production house, Twothreefive Pictures, and exec produced highly acclaimed documentaries, including the BBC Young Talent Award nominated documentary The Mobile in 2002. In 2004, Philip co-wrote and produced his first feature film, the teen-comedy Neil's Party, which premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival's HD sidebar, Sweet HD, and was showcased by the UK Film Council at the Cannes Film Festival. It has just been acquired for distribution by Lightwave Entertainment through Warner Brothers.

Since Philip made the permanent move to LA in 2004, he has produced documentaries for UK network television as well as several prime-time ABC network programs.

Aside from the documentary work, Philip has been actively developing his next feature film projects. His successful collaboration with director, Jen McGowan, on Confessions of a Late Bloomer is set to continue with their upcoming feature films The Missing Children's Club and Buccaneer's Cove.

 

Composer, Stephen Barton

Stephen Barton started his composing career writing music for documentaries and concert music in London, where his work caught the eye of Harry Gregson-Williams (Shrek, Chicken Run, Man on Fire). Since moving to Los Angeles and joining Gregson-Williams' Wavecrest studio in Venice, CA, he has written music featured in numerous movies, including additional music for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe for Walt Disney, Shrek 2 (for which he wrote a song featured on the multi-platinum selling soundtrack) with Dreamworks, and Kingdom of Heaven with acclaimed director Ridley Scott. His other additional music credits include Bridget Jones - The Edge of Reason (including a song arrangement for Mary J Blige), Shrek 4-D (playing in all of the Universal theme parks around the world) and the Paramount movie Team America: World Police for South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

In 2005, in addition to Confessions Of A Late Bloomer and The Chronicles of Narnia, he scored Dan Ireland's Mrs Palfrey at the Claremont starring Dame Joan Plowright and newcomer Rupert Friend (The Libertine, Pride and Prejudice), which won the audience award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival amongst very favorable critical reviews.
